Hey, I am Carlos Roldan from Satoshis Games. This is a post from a monthly's blog and update series.

All the core tasks and timing for the project are determined, approved and prioritised. A draft roadmap is put together, reflecting the initial project's milestones and an approximated release schedule. You can check the roadmap at lightnite.io. Tasks for the immediate milestones are created and entered into the backlog. The architecture for the bitcoin meta-game integration is designed and a blog post is being put together to talk more in detail about it.

Art Proof Concept

A sandbox environment consisting of a section of a town, a section of the countryside and a couple of characters are developed, all fully polished, that sets the style and look of the art on the final game.

All major passive systems (physics, open/close doors, chests, etc) are implemented. A playable character in the first-person view can traverse and interact minimally with the environment, though no game mechanics are implemented at this point.

We work on the game aesthetics improved the level of detail to increase more realism on the low-poly cartoonish design. Different style tests are taking place during the next weeks with shadowing and lightning effects to keep shaping the game art.
